Load then Rotate.

That's the easiest way to teach the high-level swing, at least to new hitters.

As discrete stages of the swing.

But it's not what the best hitters do.

Instead, what the best hitters do is they Overlap the various stages of the swing.

Some instructors use the term Torque to describe what good hitters do, but that's not an accurate description of how the best hitters generate power.

The problem is that the word Torque simply means turning.

Rotation.

So to use the terms Torque and Rotation is redundant.
