Loading is a term that many people use but that most don't seem to understand

When I talk about Loading, I'm talking about a movement of the hands, arms, and barrel that helps to hold the shoulders back and creates Separation between the hips and the shoulders.

Creating Separation between the hips and the shoulders stretches the muscles of The Core -- and in particular the serape muscles that run from the front hip to the back shoulder -- just before the front heel lands.[1] Due to something called the Stretch Shortening Cycle, this will boost the power output of the serape muscles.
