The Elbow Spiral, which is being popularized, if not pushed, by the folks at Driveline, is nothing but a reinvention of my old nemesis the Inverted W.

It's not that the Inverted W, and its cousins...
...doesn't work.
It does.
The problem is that it comes with a cost.
As so often happens.
In the case of the Elbow Spiral (Staircase), the cost is Timing problems.
What's so despicable about Driveline's advocacy of the Elbow Spiral (Staircase) is that, as I explain in Death to the Inverted L, the Elbow Spiral (Staircase) is the mechanic that caused Kyle Boddy's arm problems.
And that I helped him fix.
